WrapCCA Programs

Greenwich House

Greenwich House is the founding program of CCA. It began in 1964, when a dedicated group of church families realized no support system existed to help mentally ill women who were eligible to be discharged from institutionalized living.

The program closed in December, 2008, consolidating its services with Porter-Starke Services.

Spring Valley Shelter

Spring Valley Shelter offers temporary housing for homeless families. With the capacity for 28 families, each apartment in the new facility was rehabbed by volunteers representing churches, businesses, service organizations and CCA friends. Youth groups, Girl and Boy Scouts and other young volunteers assisted in cleaning and building items for common space areas for clients and staff. In all, Spring Valley Shelter received help from more than 800 volunteers who donated thousands of hours collectively. The new facility is truly a reflection of our caring community.
