Client Need Hot List

We often receive calls about specific needs for our pantries. The pantries provide food, cleaning items, and health and beauty products to the clients of Christian Community Action's programs, including Spring Valley and Greenwich House. The pantries are organized and maintained by volunteers from St. Teresa of Avila, and many of the items are donated by our community as individuals or through drives held at birthday parties, church, or school groups.

As of 6/10/08, the following items are currently in a high-level of need: 

Food Items

 - Sugar   - Mayonnaise
 - Salt  - Canned fruit
 - Pepper  - Instant pudding
 - Vegetable oil  - Beef stew
 - Fruit juice  - Creamed soup
 - Coffee  - Chili
 - Ketchup  - Sloppy Joe mix
Non-Food Items  
 - Sanitary products  - All-purpose cleaner
 - Toilet paper  - Toilet bowl cleaner
 - Paper towels  - Toilet bowl brushes
  - Vacuums  - Pepto Bismo-type
Over the Counter Medication  
 - Cold, Flu Medication   - Headache 
  - Allergy
